Is ImageBuffet compatible with macOS Mojave?
Yes, ImageBuffet is fully compatible with 10.10 and higher, including Mojave. It supports Mojave Dark Mode.
What kinds of image files does ImageBuffet Support?
ImageBuffet has direct support for PNG, JPEG, GIF (including animated), TIFF, and some RAW image file formats.
Does ImageBuffet support RAW images?
ImageBuffet can open and display some (but not all) formats of RAW. If Preview.app can open it, the chances are very good that ImageBuffet will open it. Note, however, that ImageBuffet is not optimized for RAW image handling, so loading and navigating amongst RAW images may be sluggish, unless you have a very powerful machine.
Does ImageBuffet support animated GIF?
Yes! We love animated GIFs! They animate in the single image view, just as you'd expect.
Can ImageBuffet load my Photos library?
Absolutely! Just choose File->Open, select your Photos Library file, and press Open. Because Photos libraries tend to be very large, ImageBuffet won't include the contents of your Photos library by default when you choose File->Find Images.
Does ImageBuffet offer any image editing functionality?
ImageBuffet is focused on browsing and viewing images. As such, it offers no direct image editing functionality. However, ImageBuffet does have a few features to manipulate the underlying image files - specifically, sharing them, showing them in Finder, setting Finder labels on them, and moving them to the trash.
Does ImageBuffet support gestures with a trackpad?
You bet! You can pinch to zoom in and out, and two-finger swipe to navigate amongst images.
Does ImageBuffet support Magic Mouse?
Sure does. All Magic Mouse gestures work as they should. We love magic!
